Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GICs) are investments that pay a fixed rate of interest for a specified term between one and five years. Term Deposits are investments that pay fixed interest for a specified term between 30 and 365 days.

Rates above are expressed as the annual rate. Interest paid at maturity for short term deposits based on the number of days held. Minimum investment: $1,000. All interest rates described are annual interest rates. They follow a simple interest calculation. Interest is calculated daily on the closing balance and paid monthly.
