The purpose of the Annual General Meeting is for all Owner Representatives to review reports, appoint external auditors, elect Directors, and to handle any other business as may come before the meeting according to the materials in the AGM Workbook and to our credit union’s by-laws.
Our AGM will be an in-person event this year. Should you not be able to join us in person, we will accommodate those who need to attend virtually.
Owners, staff, and other guests will have an opportunity to ask questions at the event or virtually.

Libro’s Owner Representatives carry the vote of our Owners to make informed governance decisions. Our award winning governance structure allows Owner voices to be heard through our Owner Representatives at a ratio of one Owner Representative per 1,000 Owners who serve on Regional Councils

Colouring Contest Details
Children ages 12 and under can enter October 7-October 20 (final entries at 4:00pm).
Steps to enter: pick up or print out our fall Bill the Duck colouring page, kids colour it in and add their name and age, drop it off in branch with a signed parent/guardian ballot (parent/guardians can drop off on behalf of kids).
Submitted artwork will be displayed in our branch.
Contestants will be entered to win one of 2 prizes of $50 in a free Libro youth account!
This contest is open to all, whether they bank with Libro or not!

Director Candidate Information Session

If you are interested in learning more about what it means to serve on the Libro Board of Directors, please join us for the virtual Director Candidate Information Session on Wednesday, October 5 at 6 pm.
The Board’s mandate includes the overall responsibility and authority for the strategic direction of the credit union including leadership, stewardship, corporate governance and monitoring performance. In other words, the Board is in charge of making sure we’re headed in the best direction for our Owners, that we have a solid plan for getting there, adherence to the rules, and a positive outlook. The Board meets 6 times each year. Directors also serve on board committees and act as liaisons to Regional Councils.
The registration deadline was October 5 at 4 p.m.
