Do I need a good credit score to get an Investment Loan?
Yes. Standard lending criteria applies for Investment Loans, i.e. credit score, income and ability to repay. Talk to a Libro Coach for about whether or not you qualify for an RRSP loan.
How much can I borrow?
The maximum loan amount at Libro is $30,000 for Registered Retirement Savings Accounts, Tax-Free Savings Accounts, and Registered Education Savings Plans (RESP). The maximum loan amount is $16,000 for First Home Savings Accounts (FHSA).
How long can I take to repay an Investment Loan?
All loan terms are as short as 18 months, to as long as 7 years, but can be paid off at any time without prepayment fees. Keep in mind the longer you take to pay off your loan, the more interest you will pay. Your Libro Coach can help you determine the best loan term for you.
