How to Manage Your Interac e-Transfer Contact List

Add a New Contact

To get started, follow the steps below: 

1. Sign into Online Banking. 
2. Select ‘Transfers’ in the top menu, then ‘Interac e-Transfer’. 
3. Click the ‘Contact List’ icon on the top right of your screen. 
4. Click the blue ‘+’ icon on the bottom right of your screen. 
5. Input your contacts name, email and/or mobile phone number. 
6. Select the language to notify the recipient in and how to notify them: ‘Email’ or ‘Text’. 
7. Select ‘Create’. 

Edit an Existing Contact

1. Sign into Online Banking. 
2. Select ‘Transfers’ in the top menu, then ‘Interac e-Transfer’. 
3. Click the ‘Contact List’ icon on the top right of your screen. 
4. Click the contact you want to edit and select ‘Contact Details’. 
5. Select ‘Edit’. 
6. Make your desired changes and click ‘Confirm’.

Delete a Contact

1. Sign into Online Banking. 
2. Select ‘Transfers’ in the top menu, then ‘Interac e-Transfer’. 
3. Click the ‘Contact List’ icon on the top right of your screen. 
4. Click the contact you want to remove and select ‘Delete Contact’. 
5. To confirm the deletion, click ‘Delete’.
