Strengthening our Communities Together

Libro exists to grow prosperity in southwestern Ontario by transforming banking. We are using all our resources to help our Owners and to solve some of the most pressing challenges in the region.  One way to do that is by making strategic investments in our communities and partnering with not-for-profit groups to make a collective impact on the region.

Responding to COVID -19

Community support is core to our business and that will remain the same over the coming months. We will continue to provide sponsorships, grants and student awards. We are connecting with local community leaders to understand the highest needs for our most vulnerable populations and will adjust our programs if needed.

We will update this page accordingly. For more updates about Libro’s response to COVID -19 please click here.

If you are looking for funding, we ask that you consider postponing your request if your program or initiative isn’t occurring until later in the year. If you do apply now or have already applied to one of our programs, we will do our best to respond to your applications in a timely manner, however there may be delays.

Resources: As community connectors, we want to help share some useful resources for non-for-profits and community organizations. Please see below on this page.

Community 3.jpgFinancial Literacy - Each One, Teach One

An important component of building financial resilience is the ability to understand and use financial information to make appropriate choices. That’s why volunteer staff from Libro deliver workshops on money management topics such as basic banking, understanding credit, fraud prevention and more.
