Libro Credit Union is hiring – and talking about recruitment

June 14, 2022

HURON COUNTY, PERTH COUNTY, ON – Libro Credit Union is hiring, and continuing the conversation about recruitment challenges for businesses in the area we serve.

Libro has launched its 2022 Recruitment Drive, looking for at least 13 new employees to join 750 staff in southwestern Ontario. The locally-owned banking institution, which operates 36 locations from Wingham to Windsor to Kitchener, supports 110,425 Owners (that’s members who own a share in the company), including 10,234 locally-owned businesses.

“We know it’s been getting tougher and tougher to attract the right candidates for all businesses in the local area,” said Marty Rops, Regional Community Manager for Libro’s Huron-Perth Region. “We are focused on the positive messages we can send to potential candidates.

“We want to tell the story of our area and the experience of living in it. And we want people to stay here, come here, return here, and to join us in appreciating the unbeatable lifestyle we share in this region.

“Of course, we want the best candidates to think of Libro. We also want to support local business and to spotlight the reasons so many of us choose to live and work here because we care about our communities and the locally-owned businesses that help them to thrive.

“We are telling candidates, wherever they live, that rural Ontario offers amazing quality of life, a beautiful environment, strong communities and so much potential for the future.
“This is our call to people considering their future right now: talk to us. We have a great story to tell. We want to welcome you in.”
