What does it mean to Be Libro?
It means we're focused on growing prosperity in southwestern Ontario, investing 100% of profits back into the people, businesses and communities we serve. It means we think differently about how we conduct our business, making decisions that have a positive impact on our Owners, our communities and our staff. We call this our Prosperity Purpose.
We're investing in partnerships that serve a social purpose. We're adjusting business practices with an eye towards reducing the environmental impact of our operations. And, we're sharing what we know best through thought leadership, mentoring, and financial literacy training.
Because of Libro's Prosperity Purpose, we're attracting like-minded people and organizations to become Owners in Libro and to bank, partner and invest with us. By doing so, we grow our region's prosperity, and increase Libro's ability to invest in our region.

Some actions in progress: participating in a pilot program for Ontario community loans fund; helping fund small businesses that commit to hiring those who face barriers to employment; financial literacy coaching through Each One Teach One; and more!
