Libro Credit Union Champions Local Communities

Southwestern Ontario – Libro Credit Union is pleased to support and help power the Love Local 2 Win contest, an initiative that strengthens local businesses while rewarding community members for shopping close to home.

Rooted in community impact, Libro’s involvement reflects its commitment to building strong local economies. The campaign invites Ontario residents to shop locally by offering contest entries with eligible purchases, creating a practical incentive to spend in the neighbourhood.

“Libro is proudly 100% Canadian and locally owned, like the local businesses supported through this initiative”, says Libro President and CEO, Shawn Good. “Libro serves more than 20,000 businesses across Ontario, and we’re proud to support local entrepreneurs and our communities.”

Libro is collaborating with five community partners, including the Harrow & Colchester South Chamber of Commerce, Essex Centre BIA, Kingsville BIA, Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce, and Strathroy BIA, to champion local businesses and amplify the campaign’s reach across the regions they serve.

“At Libro, we believe thriving local businesses are the foundation of vibrant communities,” said Lori Atkinson, Libro’s Regional Director, Windsor Essex. “By supporting Love Local 2 Win, we’re helping keep dollars circulating locally, supporting entrepreneurs, and creating opportunities for everyone to prosper.”

The promotion builds awareness of local businesses and highlights the collective impact of choosing local, an approach aligned with Libro’s purpose of strengthening financial well-being for a better tomorrow. Through partnerships like this, Libro supports initiatives that create lasting economic and social impact.

Shop local, enter with eligible purchases, and help build a stronger local economy. More information and details about the contest and how to win weekly draws and the grand prize of $2,000 are available at LoveLocal2WinON.com
