Libro Credit Union awards $317,000 through the 2022 Libro Annual Grants

September 14, 2022

SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO – Libro Credit Union (Libro) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2022 Annual granting program, which will see 20 projects across southwestern Ontario receive a total of $317,000.

The Libro Annual Grants Program invested in organizations whose work reflects our pillars, which include financial resilience, housing, employment and local food accessibility. We think differently about how we conduct business overall, making decisions that have a positive impact on our Owners, communities, and staff. Everything Libro does is aimed at growing prosperity including our investments in the community.

“We are excited to contribute to the amazing work these organizations are doing to impact the quality of life for so many,” said Carolina Triana, Libro’s Purpose Integration Specialist. “Every year we are impressed by the innovative programs that these groups are delivering.”

Libro’s granting process is unique and reflective of the priorities of our Owners and the needs of the communities they serve. Libro’s Owner Representatives participate in the grant evaluation process and have a voice in the award selection.

We welcome any requests for more information regarding specific projects and are happy to work with any media outlets to further tell the story of these incredible organizations.
