⚠️ Online Banking

Note: Libro released a new update to our Online and Mobile banking on Wednesday, November 12. There are some existing bugs that we are working diligently to address. Thank you for your patience.

⚠️ Third-Party Aggregators (screen-scraping) — Connection issues: Some external apps (QuickBooks, Xero or other budgeting tools) that sign in to Libro on your behalf via screen-scraping may fail to sync after our new login. You might see failed sign-ins or out-of-date balances.
What you can do: Contact your app/provider and ask them to refresh or rebuild their Libro connection for our new login. User pressure will help build the needed urgency for these companies.

⚠️ Android (Samsung) — App opens a browser and never returns / loops back to start – Some Samsung/Android phones open your web browser to verify sign-in and then don’t return to the app, sending you back to the first screen.
Fix: In the browser that opens during sign-in (your default browser), clear cookies/site data for libro.ca, then close the browser and the Libro app, reopen the app, and sign in again.

  • How to clear site data (Android):
    Samsung Internet: ≡ → Settings → Privacy → Delete browsing data → Cookies and site data (or Sites → libro.ca → Clear data).
    Chrome: Go to libro.ca → Tap the small sliders/lock icon next to the web address → Choose Cookies and site data → tap the trash can to clear.
    Firefox: ⋮ → Settings → Delete browsing data → Cookies.
    Opera: O → Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cookies and site data.

⚠️ Sign-In Username (Owner Number with Leading zeros) – Users should not add leading zero(s) to your Owner Number. Enter it without zeros at the front (e.g., 00012345 → 12345).
Tip: If your username was saved with zeros, update it in the app/browser or your password manager.

⚠️Password Reset (Self Serve) – Self-serve password reset is a new feature. As such it is only available to users who have used the new login at least once and added a recovery email. If you haven’t moved to the new login yet and you are locked out, please call Libro Connect at 1-800-361-8222 and we’ll help reset your password and move your profile.

⚠️Login – Blank Screen After First Sign-In – Some Owners see a blank page after their first successful sign-in.
Workaround: clear your browser cache for my.libro.ca (or use a private/incognito window), then sign in again.

⚠️ Biometrics + 2-Step VerificationOwners who request a verification code on every login may be unable to currently set up biometrics.
Workaround: temporarily change your 2-Step Verification setting to “when Libro wants to confirm my identity” (then set up biometrics and re-enable your preferred setting).
