Instead of having to create and manage a new username and password, Libro Owners can sign in with Libro online banking credentials – which they already know and trust.

What is Interac sign-in service?

Interac sign-in service is a service for securely and simply digitizing and verifying identity in Canada.

With the Interac sign-in service, you can enjoy a convenient way to access government services. Instead of creating and managing a new username and password for accessing government services, you access them by signing in with your Libro Online Banking details, or other participating “Sign-In Partner”.

Can I access multiple government services with one Sign-In Partner?

Yes, you can use the same Sign-In Partner to access any number of government services that offer the option of using Interac sign-in service.

What if I change the username and password for my Sign-In Partner?

If you change your login information, then you must use this new login information to access the online government sites.

Can I use Interac sign-in service if I already have an existing government-issued username and password?

Yes. Using Interac sign-in service means that you don’t have to remember or manage a variety of user IDs and passwords as your “login credentials.” Simply use the username and password that you frequently use to log in to your chosen Sign-In Partner.

Can I change Sign-In Partners?

Yes. You can change your Sign-In Partner at any time. However, some government services require you to complete identity proofing questions when you use a new Sign-In Partner.

Does Interac sign-in service support joint accounts?

Interac sign-in service does not support joint accounts at this time.

How do I get an online banking username and password for my Libro account to use with this participating services site?

You can learn how to activate your account for Libro’s online banking here. Once you’re registered, you can start using your personal Libro log-in details.

I am not able to sign in using my business account. What should I do?

Interac sign-in service does not support sign-in for business accounts at this time.

I’m having difficulties signing in, what do I do?

For problems using your Libro Online Banking credentials, contact Libro Connect at 1-800-361-8222 from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and from 8am to 4pm on Saturday.

Call Libro Connect at 1-800-361-8222 throughout North America to reset your password. Talk to a Libro Representative from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and from 8am to4 pm on Saturday.
