Libro Credit Union celebrates three new awards


Libro Credit Union is thrilled to be adding three new prestigious awards to a well-stocked trophy cabinet.

Libro won the National Credit Union Learning Excellence Award at the Canadian Credit Union Association (CCUA) annual conference in Winnipeg this week. 

This award recognizes Libro’s success to educate all staff in Lean principles which was foundational for Libro’s Lean transformation.  Lean impacts the way of thinking and acting for an entire organization and leads to maximizing value as defined by our Owners (as Libro members are known, because they own part of the company) while at the same time minimizing waste.

This follows two Achievement In Marketing Excellence Awards presented at the same conference: the awards for Brand and Brand-building, and for Internal Marketing Recognition. Both recognized our My Life Here campaign, that tells stories about Libro Owners’ lives right here in southwestern Ontario. 

The Marketing Excellence awards celebrate our success engaging staff, Owners and communities in the pride of building our lives right here in southwestern Ontario, including Libro’s role in growing prosperity.
