Libro Credit Union is enjoying a double celebration, thanks to the local banking institution’s links to the international credit union movement.
Libro is among the credit unions sharing an award for Customer Service Excellence for an incredible 19th year in a row. It’s one of six accolades for credit unions in the Ipsos Financial Service Excellence Awards, and comes just ahead of Libro’s annual celebration of International Credit Union Day on Thursday, October 19.
This year saw Canada’s credit unions receive a total of six Ipsos awards, reflecting the continuing high levels of service provided to their members. The categories were:
- Customer Service Excellence (solo win)
- Values My Business (solo win)
- Financial Planning & Advice
- Branch Service Excellence (solo win)
- Online Banking Excellence
- Live Agent Telephone Banking Excellence (solo win)
The awards come as Libro branches across southwestern Ontario prepare to host events, with prizes to be won, celebrating International Credit Union Day, which has recognized the impact of credit unions on people around the world every year since 1948.
