We’re excited to tell southwestern Ontario and the world that we care about how we do business!

B Corp certification helps us benchmark and further guides how we put our Be Libro statement to work. We are excited to be a part of a community of practice that focuses on increasing our collective impact, and that helps us demonstrate how we are ‘walking the purpose talk’.

What is a B Corp™?

Certified B Corporations® are companies that believe there is a better way to do business – one that is better for workers, communities and the environment.

There are over 3,500 B Corps operating in 150 industries in more than 74 countries around the world. 

B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. The B Impact Assessment measures a company’s impact on all of its stakeholders – including workers, suppliers, customers, community and the environment. Think of it this way, B Corp is to a whole business what Fair Trade is to a bag of coffee.

Employee focused initiatives, like becoming a Living Wage employer help employees achieve economic security while also benefiting our local economies.
