Libro Credit Union Recognized Nationally for Marketing Excellence

LONDON, ON – Libro Credit Union was honoured in Ottawa this week with an award recognizing outstanding marketing accomplishments in 2015. The annual Marketing Association for Credit Unions (MACU) Achievement in Marketing Excellence Awards Gala highlights marketing successes within the credit union industry over the past year.

Libro received Achievement in Marketing (AIM) awards in the Image Enhancement and PR Event categories for its entries, The Prosperity Project and The Prosperity Project Launch, and also in the Social Media and Viral Media Campaign category for its entry, The Prosperity Fund Roadshow.

“Raising and building awareness of Libro’s Prosperity Project for our Owners and all of southwestern Ontario was a tremendous and exciting opportunity,” said Tina Van Loon, Marketing Manager at Libro Credit Union. “This award represents the strategic development and successful implementation of reaching the marketplace, through traditional media avenues, social media and within our overall brand. We’re very proud to receive this recognition!”

Started in 1988 by credit union marketers and suppliers, MACU encourages the exchange of ideas, building of peer relationships and fosters professional development among credit union marketers across Canada.
