Look Out For Phishing Emails
An email is circulating that looks like it’s from MasterCard asking users to click on a link to renew their online banking account. The link is for an imposter site, where users are asked to input personal information. If you receive an email like this, please do not click on any links and just delete. This type of email is known as phishing, and is a form of identity theft. Click here to read more about phishing.
Libro will never send you an email with a direct link that asks you for passwords, account numbers or personal information. If you receive an email that appears to have been sent by Libro that makes you suspicious, DO NOT REPLY and DO NOT SELECT OR CLICK ON ANY LINKS. Please also let us know immediately.
Joanne Campbell Memorial Award
If a Libro staff member has exceeded your expectations of outstanding service, please consider nominating them for the Joanne Campbell Memorial Award. Each year this award is given to the staff member who meets or exceeds Libro’s high service standard, is a positive and enthusiastic team player, demonstrates a commitment to self-improvement, and is dedicated to the credit union’s vision of being southwestern Ontario’s preferred source for quality financial service. AgriInvest Accounts
AgriInvest is the latest government program for income stabilization for agricultural producers. AgriInvest accounts are designed to protect an agricultural producer’s margin from small declines. Each year, the participants will make a deposit into their AgriInvest account and receive a matching contribution from the federal and provincial governments. Both the producer and the government deposit will be kept in a single account at a local financial institution. Libro offers AgriInvest accounts. Please contact your Account Manager for details.
