I have a Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies with a minor in Economics from King’s University College at the University of Western Ontario. I have nearly seven years of commercial and agricultural lending experience with the credit union. In addition to managing the Strathroy branch, I am also the Regional Manager of our west region.

Account Manager

During my 30 year tenure with Libro Financial Group I have held a variety of positions, including Account Manager for the past 12 years. Throughout my career, I have successfully completed many specialized training courses in commercial, agricultural and retail lending. I am proud to have the opportunity to partner with our self-employed owners to identify their goals and work together to achieve them.

Karen McLean
Account Manager

I have been assisting commercial and farming business owners with their financing needs since 2001. Prior to joining Libro, I worked for 14 years in sales and marketing with a national animal feed company. My education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Economics from the University of Guelph. Also, I have successfully completed several specialized training courses in commercial and agricultural lending during my career at Libro. I am proud to have the opportunity to partner with our self-employed Owners to identify their goals and work together to achieve them.

Karey Adams
Account Manager

I have been with Libro Financial Group since 1995, and have completed specialized training dedicated to lending in the agricultural, commercial and retail areas. My husband and I own a cow/calf operation, and I have extensive experience in the livestock feed and farm supply industry. I am proud to have the opportunity to partner with our self-employed owners to identify their goals and work together to achieve them.

Nancy Fernandes-Giles
Certified Financial Planner

I have 12 years experience with Libro Financial Group and I have earned the Certified Financial Planner™ designation, which is a professional designation and is considered the highest standard in Canada and internationally for financial planning. To keep this designation current and to stay up to date I complete at least 30 hours of continuous learning and professional development each year.

My role at Libro Financial Group is to help you own your life – by advising and coaching you based on your situation. I will help you work towards financial control and freedom. And at Libro we don’t work on commission, so we always have your best interests in mind.

Angela Van Bynen
Lending Specialist

During my 20 year tenure with Libro Financial Group I have held a variety of positions, including Lending Specialist for the past seven years. Throughout my career, I have successfully completed numerous specialized training courses in retail lending. I am proud to have the opportunity to partner with our Owners to identify their goals and work together to achieve them.
